Jon Hughes, Managing Director HARIBO UK and Haribo Ireland

Jon joined HARIBO in 2017 and during this time, he has supported continued year-on-year growth; worked on the strategic introduction of HARIBO’s new sugar reduced products, accelerated the roll out of Haribo’s own retail stores as well as continue the development of Haribo’s iconic advertising. Jon has over 25 years’ commercial leadership experience for blue-chip consumer companies.

Jon is a keen supporter of the local community and is involved in a number of initiatives across the Wakefield district. Jon is a Trustee at Castleford Academy Trust, working with the Board and Executive team to support excellence for all across the academies five schools.

Jon has supported the Wakefield Business Awards from the very beginning and returns as a judge of the for the fourth consecutive year.
